Amer Iqbal, Ph.D., is a Pakistani theoretical physicist. He is primarily known for his work in string theory and mathematical physics.[1] He is the associate professor of Physics at the School of Science and Engineering at the Lahore University of Management Sciences.[2] Previously, he had served as a Professor of Mathematics at the School of Mathematical Sciences.[3]

Biography

Iqbal has a M.Sc. in Mathematics from Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad and Doctorate in Theoretical physics from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). He carried out his doctoral research under the supervision of string theorist professor Barton Zwiebach.
